Clear the pile - Natalie

Natalie's turn on my catch up attempts. In some ways she has matured immensely lately; in others she is still the same. She loves to do things all by herself. She likes to climb on the counter and get a cup to get herself a drink. She still wears a skirt everyday, usually with very interesting color combinations. She still loves princesses and dressing up and shoes. She is super quick with explanations and come-backs.... sometimes they are true.

She started dancing lessons a few months ago. She really enjoyed them and loved her teacher. They ended last week. I asked her if she wanted me to sign her up again. She said, "no, one time is enough dancing for me."

She caught on to my attempts to document her outfit selections so it has become hard to take her picture. She grudgingly obliged with this one though. She wanted to wear two skirts but was sad that the top one hid the bottom one so she fixed that by pulling the top one way up. She is very concerned about how she looks, but holes in tights are not a problem.

Swimming season has begun.

This picture is obviously super old - and blurry. Natalie sat down and worked really hard on her valentines. My favorite part is the way she writes the letter E.

Natalie really loves Bridget. She can make her laugh better than anyone else. Bridget simply lights up when she walks in the room. I was afraid that when Natalie tried to 'help' me with Bridget that it would be the kind of help that makes more work. Surprisingly, she has been truly helpful. She brings me diapers, plays with her, and loves to feed Bridget.

Natalie pretty much hates when I do her hair. She does, however, love to do her own hair. The front - and the back.

Remember this magnet? It is still on our fridge. Natalie pulled it down the other day and pointed and named the kids. She said, "there's Caroline, there's Miles, and there's me. Oh, that's right, I'm the cute one." No doubt she's cute... and confident.
