Halloween is so much fun in Arizona... no coats required that ruin your costume.  Most people sit in chairs out on the driveway to enjoy the weather and fun and kids can move from house to house quickly.  Caroline and Miles wanted nothing more than to go trick-or-treating by themselves this year.  We let them go around one loop and then Brian met back up with them.

Caroline wanted to be Ginny Weasley again this year but after Miles decided to be Harry she thought it would be weird to be married to her brother.  So she decided to be Hermione instead.  In her mind it made all the difference, even though it was the exact same costume.

We had a big fancy princess dress for Natalie.  At the last minute she decided it was too heavy and wore this dress from the dress-up box instead.

Our evening plan was for Brian to handle trick-or-treating while I stayed home with Bridget and pass out candy.  As soon as we got outside she took off across the street.  There was no way she was going to be left behind;  Brian took her in the stroller.  Lots of our neighbors that came by told me they had seen Bridget and she looked super happy.  She has no idea she is a baby, she is certain she is as big as the other kids.

Miles really wanted his hair to be authentically black.  He loved it until the night was over and he had to wash his hair several times.   He thought he looked like a pretty good Harry Potter.
