Summer Swim Team

Swim team was once again a highlight of the summer:

Miles first (and only so far) 'first place' finish.

 Miles has a set pre-race ritual just like Michael Phelps.  Phelps flaps his arms and rubs the blocks.  Miles ritual is much more.... mischievous.

Since Caroline is nine she had to do 50's of each stroke for the first time this year.  A 50 fly is a lot longer than a 25 for a small girl.  She did a great job.

Both kids tried the 100 IM for the first time this summer.  They loved it which secretly made me happy.  

They both still like breaststroke the best.  These videos are only exciting if you love watching swimming (probably just my dad).  My 'don't look at the other lanes' tip is finally starting to sink in with Caroline... Miles might need a few more years.
